Upon Arrival

All check-in is after 4:00 on your starting rental date.

When you arrive, feel free to adjust the thermostat to your comfort level and open up all the blinds.

The thermostat is located on the wall with the ladder shelves between the fireplace and the kitchen. The “Nest” can be adjusted by simply pressing the body of console, selecting heat or cool, then rotating to choose your desired temperature.

The house will have been cleaned prior to your arrival. Please let us know if anything is not cleaned well.

There is a small white camera on the console table in the living room; please unplug this when you arrive. We use this for security purposes when the house is vacant.

Parking

Please keep vehicles in the driveway; however, any extra vehicles that do not fit in this area can be parked on the street in front of the lake house.

Home Access

The front door code given to you upon arrival will work until your time of check out. The door locks automatically upon shutting it.

Upon Checkout

Steps

1 - Wash

Please wash one full load of towels and start dryer. Also, load and run the dishwasher, not leaving anything in the sink.

2 - Organize

Return all remotes, pillows, blankets, books, chairs, etc. to their original locations. Please remove anything from the fridge that is perishable.

3 - Deck

Please lower the umbrella on the upper deck. Please stack all the chairs on the lower deck and around the fire pit. Please ensure that the gas grill’s cover is on and that the propane is turned off.

4 - Dock

Please ensure that all the dock chairs are stacked and all the life-jackets and any other dock toys are put back in the storage areas on the dock where you found them. Ensure that the dock shed doors are closed but don’t worry about locking it.

5 - Final Things

Please lock all the doors and close the blinds. Turn the thermostat to 72 degrees. Plug in the security camera.
